Shannon Dawnzell Davis

Shannon Dawnzell Davis was born April 2, 1975 in Los Angeles, California. He was the beloved child born to Charles and Edith Davis. At an early age, Shannon accepted the Lord as his personal savior under the leadership of his grandfather, Pastor Robert Davis. Shannon loved the Lord. Shannon was raised in Los Angeles. He graduated from Hawthorn High where he was nominated Homecoming King. He attended Mountain View College in Texas as well as El Camino College to further his professional career as a Computr Graphic Designer. After graduating with a degree, Shannon became an entrepreneur and became owner of his company FYV5 Graphics. Later in life, Shannon crossed paths with his high school friend Tenecia, who became the love of his life. They wedded on June 9, 2001. Their love was evident to those around them. Shannon was known for his plesant smile, and carefree spirit. He was very compassionate with family and friends. He was greatly known for his sense of humor and fashionable style. He was a mentor for people near and far. Shannon was the Youth Minister at Unique Christian Center, under Pastor Michael Northington. Shannon was filled with the Holy Spirit in September 2000. He loved the Lord. Shannon was also involved in the Sunday School Ministry at Unique Christian Center. After serving his season at Unique Christian Center, he and his wife rejoined his childhood church, West Angeles COGIC under the leadership of Bishop Charles E. Blake. The Sunset on Sunday, February 23, 2003, Shannon was called to his eternal home to live with his lord and savior, Jesus Christ. Those left to cherish his memory: His committed wife Tenecia, loving mother Edith Davis Hutchinson, father; Lou Hutchinson, Sister LaShon Poitier, Glynn and Renee Danies, Brothers in law: Bryan and Rodereck, Sisters in laws: Tracy, Jamila, and Syretta, Paternal Grand parents, Pastor Robert and Beulah Davis, Maternal grandparents Samuel and Jewell Henderson, Godparents Pastor West and Missionary Griffin, Jr. Two nieces: Dominique and Angelia. Two Nephews: James and Brandon. Fathers and Mother-in law Rodereck Singleton, and Pastor Mario and Patricia Thompson. Uncle and Aunties: Charles and Karen Jamison, Kelvin and Jacquelyn Jamison, David Jamison, Shaheed Fareed. Host of Beloved Cousins: Russell, Kelvin II, Marcel, Rahim, Dante, LeJon, Kenya, Mia, Joi, Issac, Jason, Sade, TaJuana, Zeta, Kayshawna, Radaisha, Dwain, Dejwan, Kevonne, Rasheen, Deforest, Rayshawn, Martell, and a host of family, God Brothers, God Sisters and friends.
