On October 26, 1961 in Altus, OK Bobbie Faye Booker went to the hospital, and came back home new baby boy named Craig. Bobbie Faye was overjoyed seeing her new baby boy. Upon Craig’s arrival, he was introduced to his older Brother, Jerry. During this era, life was good. Bobbie Faye was blessed. Afterwards, Bobbie Faye Booker united in matrimony to William Taylor; to this union they were blessed with two daughters, Pamela and Vonnie. As Craig grew older, the Family realized he was tearing-up everything around the house. We called him “Mr. Fix-it”!!! Craig took Jerry’s new battery operated cassette player, and tried to make it electric. Craig cut the cord off his mother’s iron, and taped the cord on the cassette player, afterwards, he plugged the extension it into the wall……fire shot up the wall. Mr. Fix-it man. Craig was a 1978 graduate of Altus High School. He united with New Hope Baptist Church at an early age. Craig loved New Hope Baptist Church. He loved to volunteer in helping others. Craig was preceded in death by his grandparents: Walter & Claudie Bookie; mother, Bobbie Faye Booker-Taylor; one brother, Michael; a host of uncles & aunts. Survivors include: Jerry King & Karen of Denver, CO; Pamela Gaddis of Oklahoma City, OK; Yvonne Willis of Oklahoma City, OK.
