Darnell King

Darnell King was born on November f11, 1956 in Los Angeles, CA. He greaduated in 1975 from Manual Arts High School in Los Angeles, CA. Those who knew Darnell, knew he had many talents. He played guitar, piano, and could also sing. He went on to unite in matrimony to Connie Warren in 1983. To that union two children were born: Darnell (Devon) and Deniesha. In 1986, pursuing his career in renovating homes & buildings, Darnell moved to Oklahoma City. He resided in Oklahoma City for 33 years. He wanted a “change of pace”, and to reacquaint with family. He returned to California late in the year of 2017. Darnell left for Oklahoma to attend his brother’s Vernon funeral services. He became ill while in route. He wanted to reunite with his children and grandchildren before he left this Earth, as well as reunite in heaven with those whom have gone before him. Darnell was preceded in death by his parents Willie Mach King and Gladys & Leonard Web, Sr., Two sisters, Brenda and Diane; two brothers, Herman and Vernon. He leaves to cherish his memories: two children, Darnell (Devon) and Deniesha. 8 grandchildren: Nicole, Nicholas, Naevan, Elijah, Nyanne, Nathaniel, Natalie, and Malakai; 1 great-grandchild, and 1 on-the-way. 2 sisters, Cassandra and Carla; 5 brothers: James, Ezzard, Leonard, Jr., Billie Joe, and Tyrell; A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
