Dewey E. Wilson

February 11, 1945 - January 30, 2022

Dewey E. Wilson was the 4th of 12 children born on February 11, 1945, to Lee Arthur. Sr. & Millicent Butler-Wilson in Oklahoma City, OK. Dewey attended and received his education from Inman Page Elementary School and Douglass High School. He was in the graduating class of 1963. Dewey was blessed with two sons Derrick, and Remon from previous unions. Some years later, he then met and united in holy matrimony to the love of his life, Patsy Conley. The couple recently, on January 1, 2022, celebrated 40 years of marriage. To this union Dewey was blessed with a third Son, Patrick. After high school in 1963, Dewey worked for Macklanburg & Duncan INC. He was employed there for 47 years, and ended his career as a Master Machine Operator. After retiring from Macklanburg & Duncan INC, in 2010, Dewey and Patsy became entrepreneurs. They both owned P & D Enterprise, INC and operated the business up until their health begun to fail. Dewey had a love for many hobbies. He would challenge others to pool, darts, dancing, dominoes, cards, and bowling. While bowling, he achieved a perfect score of 300. He also enjoyed and loved his Friday night cards with his family. Dewey accepted Christ along with his 3rd Son, Patrick in recent years, and rededicated his life to Christ. Dewey lived his life to the fullest with no regrets. He never met a stranger and was loved by many. He was a proud husband, father, grandfather, and so much more. Our beloved Dewey departed from this World, with his loving wife by his side, on January 31, 2022, at 7:45 p.m. He was preceded in death by both parents, Lee Arthur & Millicent Butler-Wilson; one son, Derrick Wilson; brother, L.A. Wilson, Jr., Anthony Rogan He leaves to cherish his memories his loving wife of the home, Patsy Wilson; 2 sons, Remon Wilson of Rex, GA and Patrick Wilson, Sr. (Tieshia) of Oklahoma City, OK. Grandchildren: ReMontae’ Wilson, Brandon Handsard, Maurice Wilson, Patrick Wilson Jr, Derek Wilson, Josiah Wilson, and Eric Seal. Siblings: Millicent A. Combs (Ned), Sheridan A. Akins, Lucky Wilson, Sr. (Carolyn), Deborah Reeves (James), Norris Wilson, Essie Woolfolk, Bessie Lewis, Bertrum Wilson (Wanda), Neville Wilson and Christine Rogan of Keller, Tx Dewey is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
