Howard Hayden

Howard Hayden was the 5th child born to Joseph & Isabell Hayden on December 18, 1926 in Chickasha, OK Howard is a life-long, well respected, resident of the Chickasha Community. He attended Lincoln school. Occupation: Howard primarily worked as a Farm Hand on the Family Farm. Performed all the daily routines and chores associated with Farming. Howard and Edgar allowed many young kids their first, first-hand, experience with Farm life. Howard did whatever needed to be done, whether slopping hogs, feeding cattle, repairing fences, etc. Howard also was extremely stout, he hauled and baled hay with the best of them. Howard was a life-long member of First Baptist Church (Family Church) 101 E. Dakota Ave, Chickasha, OK. Howard was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, John & Francis Bledsoe; paternal grandparents, Joseph & Isabell Hayden. Other family members whom preceded Howard in death include Sisters: Juanita Beatty, Johnnie May Strout, Marquerite Johnson; Niece, Johnetta (Fran) Carter; one brother, Lawrence Hayden. Those left behind to cherish the memories of Howard are: Clara McCoy, Edgar Hayden, and Willard Hayden, all three of Chickasha, OK; Wanda Davis, Arvella Hayden, and Leo Hayden, all three of Oakland, CA; A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives. He will be greatly missed by the Staff and other residents at Grace Living Center in Chickasha, OK.
