Mitchell Ray Johnson

Mitchell Ray Johnson was the youngest of three Sons born to Alene Lee Johnson. He was born in Hobart, OK at Elkview Hospital. He later relocated to Lawton, OK. From there (Lawton) he later moved to Oklahoma City, and finally moved back home to live his final days in Hobart. On August 6, 2021, Mitchell passed away at the Oklahoma City Veterans Hospital due to multiple health complications. Mitchell attended Hobart High School where he played basketball and excelled in academics. After graduating high school, he went on to join the Military where he served in the United States Airforce. One of his duty stations was in Thailand. While in Thailand, before returning to the States, he served a Military Security guard Post. After his tour in the Military, Mitchell attended Auto Mechanic school in Oklahoma City. He also completed many home courses throughout the years. Even though Mitchell worked several jobs during his lifetime, his passion was always working on cars. He worked for the City of Lawton’s Water Department and several Construction jobs. Mitchell tried to help others in the Community with their car problems and other task with advice and sometimes doing repairs whenever possible. Mitchell had two sons: Bryan of Nebraska and Mitchell Andre’ Johnson of Lawton, OK. Later in life, Mitchell Married his estranged wife, Marcia Maldonodo. He was preceded in death by both parents, Napoleon Johnson and Alene Lee Johnson; brothers, Clifford Doss and Robert Johnson; aunts: Elnora Dorsey, Maugeri, Dolleri, and Alberta; uncles: Nelson Lee, William Lee, William Parker, Osi, and Pete; Nephew, Randell Johnson. Survivors include two children, Bryan of Nebraska and Mitchell Andre’ Johnson of Lawton, OK; one granddaughter, Aleya Johnson of Lawton, OK. He also leaves behind many more relatives and friends who loved him and will greatly miss him.
